It's 1:30am and I just finished packing for my trip this weekend. I'll be leaving in the morning and will be out of town until sometime on Sunday~ Some friends and I decided it was high time for an ocean getaway, my partners in crime, as always, being and . The trip just so happened to fall on the Fourth of July, we really didn't plan a big to-do with fireworks or anything, though the beach will be caked with people celebrating and lighting fireworks off, shooting them under peoples' cars. If we can find a safe spot, maybe we'll check that out (I went last year with ~PALLAandHUTTSER and her family, and despite all of the smoke and the imminent danger, we had a pretty good view of the fireworks display). I don't doubt that our weekend will be full of fun, great food, ska, Psych, racing movies, and who knows what else

I also uploaded a new picture [link] (surprising, I know!) as a sort of manifestation of my newfound love of summer. My fireworks-themed tanktop is a complete coincidence, though it worked out pretty well I'm not a fan of heat, nor was I a fan of the sun up until recently (Yes, I used to be one of those babybat, goth wannabes for a while. I'm very happy to say I've grown out of that crap), but I've come to enjoy spending time relaxing in the sun, reading. Not to mention summer offers many opportunities to spend time having fun in a variety of ways (going to the beach, for one ).

Anyway, I'm finally off to bed. I hope you all enjoy yourselves over the holiday weekend; be safe and have fun, whatever you decide to do!
